The launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G in 2022 had a unique twist for several reasons. It was initially introduced in China at the beginning of the year and is now gradually rolling out to other countries, including India. Additionally, unlike the previous 9 series, which saw the debut of three models in India, the 10 series has so far unveiled only a single model. Although it's highly likely that OnePlus has plans for more affordable variants like the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10R later this year, our current focus centers on the flagship model.
The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G represents a significant evolution from its predecessor, the OnePlus 9 Pro, boasting notable enhancements on various fronts. Key improvements include a fresh design, an upgraded selfie camera, and a larger battery with faster charging capabilities. In the competitive landscape, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G vies with devices like the Samsung Galaxy S22, iQoo 9 Pro, iPhone 13, and Vivo X70 Pro+. The question now is whether the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G lives up to its promising specifications.
The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is a substantial and somewhat weighty device, which may require a period of adjustment. If you're accustomed to using larger phones, transitioning to the 10 Pro 5G should pose no significant challenge. The phone's body has a sleek finish that can be slippery, making the included case a valuable accessory. It doesn't significantly compromise the phone's aesthetics and provides excellent traction and protection. The in-display fingerprint sensor is highly responsive and consistently unlocks the phone when required. Face recognition functioned effectively under well-lit conditions but occasionally faced difficulties in very dim lighting.
